DESCRIPTION
Acrytile® PRIMER is a high performance acrylic based, multi-purpose primer for use in conjunction with Acrytile® ceramic tile adhesives. The application of PRIMER directly to the substrate will greatly enhance adhesion properties of all of the adhesives in the Acrytile® ceramic tile adhesive range. PRIMER will also provide a additional barrier to protect against moisture ingress.

SUITABLE SURFACES
Acrytile® PRIMER is suitable for application over many porous surfaces including concrete panels/floors, cement renders/screeds, fibre cement sheet, plasterboard and timber flooring prior to commencement of tiling.
APPLICATION
Apply PRIMER to the substrate with a brush, broom or roller ensuring full coverage has been achieved. Whilst wet, PRIMER will have a reddish milky appearance. When the material has dried, all signs of milkiness will have vanished and the surface will now be ready for application of tiles, acrylic paints and textured wall coatings. In warmer weather, dampen surfaces with water and allow surface moisture to disappear prior to application of PRIMER. This is an important step in order to avoid flash drying.
COVERAGE
Expected coverage for Acrytile® PRIMER is approximately 8 - 10 square metres per litre.
CLEAN UP
Acrytile® PRIMER is an acrylic based product. Clean brushes and rollers with water immediately after use as dried material will prove difficult to remove.
PACKAGING
Acrytile® PRIMER is supplied in 4, 10 and 20 litre plastic jerry cans.
SHELF LIFE
When stored in cool, weather proof conditions, Acrytile® PRIMER can be safely used for up to 12 months from date of purchase.
